Building on the legendary Extra 260 design, this model has been meticulously re-engineered for the 170–200cc power class. Over the course of 2024 and 2025, Team Pilot and Designer Santiago Perez Sequeira perfected its aerodynamics through extensive testing and refinement. In its early debut at the 2024 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout, Santiago piloted one of the first prototypes to a victory in the Invitational precision round. By July 2025, equipped with the final production aero package, he captured the IMAC Unlimited National Championship—a testament to the aircraft’s precision and performance.

The 120” Extra 260 comes equipped with Freestyle stabilizers and elevators for extreme 3D and freestyle capability. For pilots focused purely on precision flight, a dedicated Precision stabilizer set—proven in the 2025 NATS—is available separately from Extreme Flight.
