The Extreme Flight 88” Extra 260 marks a significant evolution in the 70-76cc class of aerobatic RC aircraft. Every detail has been carefully re-engineered to deliver performance on par with our renowned 120cc Extra 260—offering the same flight characteristics and stability, but in a more transportable, affordable format.

Refined Design. Exceptional Performance.Developed using a custom-tuned version of our Generation V aerodynamic platform, this aircraft underwent nearly a year of rigorous testing by Team Extreme. Multiple prototypes and refinements led to the creation of a perfectly balanced airframe that excels across all styles of aerobatic flight.

Ready for Gas or Electric PowerFor gas power, equip the 88” Extra 260 with five high-quality servos—Savox 1280 or 2290 recommended—and a 70-76cc twin-cylinder engine. Our favorite combination? The GP76 twin paired with an MTW Y-header and MTW TD-110H rear-dump canister, turning a 25x9 prop. This setup delivers smooth, quiet, and linear power—ideal for both precision and extreme 3D/XA maneuvers.

Prefer electric? This airframe is a superb candidate. Pair it with the XPWR 60CC or Dualsky GA6000 60CC outrunner or any high-quality 6kW class outrunner, powered by 12S 5000–6000mAh packs. Battery placement is intuitive and accessible, right at the center of the tray.
